shǎo【少】(Verb)
This section we will go over one of the ways you can use 少 as a verb.
We have been over how to stroke it in the previous section, so for this section we will just be going over one of the meanings of 少as a verb and how it is used in a couple example sentences.
Let’s begin!
shǎo;【少】;Be short of; lack; be not enough
There are three ways to use 少 aa a verb. That’s right, that means after this we will have two more sections with four more phrase examples. The translations seem to mostly follow the same pattern as using 少 as an adjective. Which is a small amount of something. although the final section will be a little different from the posts you’re studying currently.
In this section 少 as a verb means to be lacking or to be short of something.
Sentence Example 1
The first sentence I will go over with you is going to be the phrase “They’re still two chairs short”
